Bolero was founded by a small group of former acquisition executives, program managers, and operators who spent their careers inside the machinery of American defense, and left believing that machinery required reform faster than it was self-organizing to deliver.
We advise the primes, non-traditionals, private capital, and government offices whose combined output constitutes the United States Defense Industrial Base. Our mandate is narrow, our client roster deliberately limited, and our loyalty is to the eventual warfighter on the receiving end of every program we touch.
Advisory that does not survive contact with a Milestone Decision Authority is not advisory. We work the calendar of the government, not the calendar of the deck.
Every engagement is led by a partner who has held program authority. We do not staff junior consultants against senior problems.
We do not answer to a fund, a platform, or a preferred supplier. Our only obligation is to the program outcome. Our partners measure us by the decisions we help them make, and the results those decisions deliver.
Most of what we do never appears on a website. Client relationships are permanent; publicity is not.
